Public Participation
Give your dog a chance to shine at the
K9 Escapades, taking place in the K9 Escapades ring at 9:30 and 1:00. Whether your dog is a beauty or an ugly duckling, looks like Lassie, or maybe has a trick he just loves to perform, this is your opportunity to let him strut his stuff.
You can sign up at the K9 Escapades ring starting at 9:00. Winners will be determined by an impartial panel of judges, and ribbons and prizes given for 1st through 3rd places.

Best Trick – Let your dog show off his best moves to the crowd and our panel of discerning judges. Props are allowed, although you will only have a total of 2 minutes on stage to set up and perform. Tricks will be judged based on originality, execution and the level of difficulty.
Best Costume – Let your imagination run wild! Judging will take into consideration both originality, and the appropriateness to breed.
Prettiest and Handsomest– If your dog is drop-dead gorgeous, this is the class for you. Based entirely on the dog (no costumes), judges will be focusing on appearance and attitude.
My Dog Looks Like ____– You fill in the blank. If your dog resembles someone, something, or a celebrity dog, even if he looks like you, sign him up! There are infinite possibilities. Accessories and props may be used to heighten the similarities.
