A Canine Good Citizen® is a dog who behaves well in a crowd, has good manners when guests visit the home,
is reliable around children, and doesn't lunge, bark or threaten other dogs or people.
Some homeowners’ insurance programs or hotels offer discounts for CGC Certification and CGC dogs are welcome in some hotels and other establishments that otherwise will not accept dogs.
The CGC test is a series of ten activities including "Accepting a friendly stranger" and "Sitting politely for petting".

Public Participation
To test your dog's manners, please sign up at the
Canine Good Citizen® tent beginning at 9:00.
Testing will begin at 9:30 and the last dog will start the test at 2:30. Test slots will fill up quickly, so it's recommended that you register as early as you can.
Note: CGC actiivities will break for lunch from 12:00 to 1:30.
