HOTC Dog Fair 2022
Monte Sano State Park - September 24, 2022

This website describes the most recent HOTC Dog Fair which was held in 2022. When the Huntsville Obedience Training Club plans a future Dog Fair this site will be updated.

Welcome to the 18th Annual Huntsville Obedience Training Club's (HOTC) Dog Fair

The HOTC Dog Fair provides a wide range of demonstrations and hands-on activities for the public and their canine companions, and gives local shelters and rescue groups the opportunity to showcase their dogs in need of a 'forever' home.  Vendors' booths with dog-related items for sale help lend a country-fair atmosphere to the event, enhancing everyone's enjoyment.

Start your day at the HOTC Dog Fair with a visit to WELCOME & INFORMATION. You can pick up the latest Event Schedule, Dog Fair Map showing activity and Exhibitor locations, and register for dozens of door-prizes to be given away throughout the day. WELCOME & INFORMATION is staffed by knowledgeable HOTC volunteers to help you enjoy your day.

Can your dog sit?  Keep on the look out for the PRIZE PATROL

Ever wonder what would happen if you got lost in the woods?  Huntsville Search Dog Unit and SARTEC K-9 Unit are here to show you.

Would your dog like a new toy?  PRIZES FOR POOP is just the thing for you.

Want to learn about scent training, try the Treat Hide and Seek - K9 Scent Work session.  If your dog jumps on people or has other issues, then training sessions Let's Train Manners and Drop In Anytime Training Q & A may help.

All performances, demonstrations and public-participation activities are free and you'll have lots of opportunities to win some of the hundreds of prizes that will be given away.  Please note there is a nominal per car parking fee charged by Monte Sano State Park.
